Once dubbed by the press as "The Exhibition Man", Edward Liu is the Managing Director of Conference & Exhibition Management Services (CEMS) Pte Ltd with some 27 years of industry experience behind him.

The first elected president of the Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS) in 1981, Edward is now serving as a Member of The Board of Directors of the International Association for Exhibition Management (IAEM) based in Texas, United States.

Academically, Edward holds an MBA from Brunel University, United Kingdom, apart from a degree and several diplomas from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and The University of Chicago. Additionally, he was certified by the International Association of Professional Conference Organisers (IAPCO) based in Brussels, Belgium.

Conferred a Public Service Medal (PBM) by the President of the Republic of Singapore for his services to the community in 1999, Edward is also serving as Honorary Consul for the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) in Singapore.
